15 Hotly-Anticipated Nintendo Switch Games Coming In 2017
3. Yooka-Laylee
Yooka-Laylee is coming to every major platform under the sun later in 2017, but being the whole game can be played in a local co-op, it's going to feel right at home on the Switch more than most.
Super-team Playtonic Games (comprised of various ex-devs from larger studios) built the 3D platformer as a love letter to where the genre was at in 90s - its appeal being a tribute to Banjo Kazooie's character design and semi open-world level structures. Controlling one character each is sure to harken back to something like Bugs & Taz: Time Busters, a rare co-op gem on the PS1 that succeeded immensely in taking two players on a varied campaign filled with puzzles, fun platforming sections and great character moments.
With Crash's N. Sane Trilogy and Super Mario Odyssey both arriving after Ratchet & Clank's reboot already turned some heads last year, it's high-time the 3D platformer made a full-on comeback.
