4. Infamous
While Sucker Punch proved they were a force to be reckoned with when it came to their Sly Cooper games, the developer didn't quite hit that sweet spot until they moved onto the super-powered Infamous series. Delivering two of the best (if not the best) superhero games of last generation, the developers made creating detailed and expansive sandbox titles on consoles look easy. Establishing another Playstation icon with protagonist (or antagonist, if you so wish) Cole, the Infamous series gave plenty of potential PS3 buyers a reason to pick up Sony's new console. And while the latest release, Second Son, wasn't quite the jump forward many fans were hoping for, it still provided an incredibly enjoyable sandbox experience, and to this day remains one of the PS4's most underrated games.
