15 Iconic PlayStation Franchises - Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Crash Bandicoot
Creating the most popular mascot the Playstation has ever seen, the original Crash games were absolutely perfect both for the time and especially retrospectively. If you were after a humorous, colourful platforming experience, these were simply some of the most enjoyable video games ever made Fortunately for us, the releases only improved as tech developed and the creators became more and more experienced in their craft. Each original title was unique in itself, yet retained key elements that made the entire series feel cohesive and instantly accessible. Sadly, the franchise no longer belongs to either Naughty Dog or Sony, so a grand return to this once icon of gaming in its original form looks incredibly bleak in 2015. Still, those originals hold up so impeccably well, there's an endless well of goodwill and nostalgia to draw from.
