Achieved by 0.3% of players Europa Universalis is one of the richest, deepest nation-building strategy games of all time. It puts you in control of a nation circa 1400 AD, and it's your job to lead it through to 1800 by diplomacy, good governance, and a healthy amount of war. Its realism and complexity makes Civilization look like the 'junior' version of a nation-building strategy game. EU IV's most infamous achievement is Three Mountains, which tasks you with taking over the entire world as the small island-nation of Ryukyu. Surrounded by Asian powerhouse nations like China, Japan, Korea, and with an army made up of bows and arrows while Europe already has gunpowder, it's a virtually insurmountable task. It's thought that only a handful of people have ever earned this accolade, mainly through exploits in the game mechanics which the developers have since patched up. If you can manage to earn this one, then you should seriously consider a career as a despotic monarch.
