12. Hogwarts (Harry Potter)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jnwiHIhrvo This brief but exciting trailer offers a glimpse at everyone's favourite fictional school Hogwarts created in Minecraft. One of the best things about this build is the lack of description needed; you can quite clearly recognise many of Hogwarts' areas and features, even in block form. The Great Hall is an obvious inclusion but the junk-filled Room of Requirement looks amazing in Minecraft form. The Chamber of Secrets is also featured, showing the incredible attention to detail of this build it even has a moving door, no doubt thanks to some redstone wizardry (ahem). Perhaps the only problem is the Whomping Willow it just looks tame without the animated flailing arms. Perhaps Mojang can introduce moving tree arms into a future update, just to give this world an extra dose of authenticity. 11. Craftica's Atlas
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSp29qBMyzE Sometimes creating a city just isn't enough. The spawn area of Craftica is made up of atmospheric ruins with vines and overgrown trees everywhere; it honestly wouldn't look out of place as the setting for an entire game. Even better though, the entire world you start on is being held up by a gigantic statue of Atlas the Titan from Greek Mythology who held up the Celestial Sphere. This statue is unbelievably impressive and the idea of placing it under this already fantastic looking world is phenomenal. Even better, there are no outside interferences in play here; the entire world was built up by a group of people simply because they wanted to if that doesn't inspire your co-operative side, what will?
