The Announcement: It's the announcement that Half-Life fans have been waiting for with bated breath since Half-Life 2: Episode Two came out over 7 and a half years ago, that Half-Life 3 (or as was previously expected, Half-Life: Episode Three) is definitely happening. Valve's refusal to comment on the game's existence has become a huge running joke online (and justifiably so), and after countless hoaxes, it'd simply be a relief to know that, one day, this damn game is definitely coming out, even though it'll surely never be able to live up to the insane, unfair hype. How Likely Is It?:2/10. It's not as impossible as some of the entries on this list, though still not a likelihood at all. Though it would be a fantastic way to help Valve sell the Steam Machine, that pretty much only boosts its chances from a 1/10 to a 2/10. Sorry, folks!
