15 Insane E3 Announcements That Would Shock The World

14. The Last Guardian Gets A 2015 Release Date

The Announcement: Team Ico's game has been in development since 2007 and publically known about since 2009, and at this year's E3, the game will finally be unveiled as a PlayStation 4 exclusive with what will likely be a late 2015 release date. How Likely Is It?:4/10. Given how the game is still in some form of active production and Sony have spent years saying that it'll be re-revealed when it's in a suitable state, there's definitely a chance that Team Ico will answer the prayers of millions of gamers the world over next month, but given how scant news has been on it recently, it could also miss yet another major trade event and surprise absolutely nobody in the process. If they did show it off, even a mediocre trailer would blow the roof off the house if it came with a concrete release date, and while far from impossible, many fans are so jaded by the game by this point that they won't be expecting it to show up (though they'll be secretly hoping).
