15 Insanely Underrated PS4 & Xbox One Games You Must Play

1. Ratchet And Clank

Mad Max In Car Combat
Insomniac

Who thought that a remake of an almost fifteen year old game would turn out to be not only one of the best video games of the year, but also one of the best PS4 exclusives so far? Nobody, that's who, and yet this year's Ratchet and Clank proved that a little bit of character goes a long way, and solid platforming and level design goes even further.

More of a remix of the original game than a straight up remake, Ratchet and Clank 2016 attempts to tie itself into both the movie of the same name and the video game source material, managing to be an elegant mixture of the two.

Visually, the title is almost unparalleled, bringing a Pixar level of quality to the PS4, both in cutscenes and out. The gameplay on the other hand is updated just enough from the original to remain enjoyable, and while it's more simplistic than what we've come to expect from blockbuster titles, that simplicity works in the release's favour, with the right amount of additions to keep it feeling fresh in 2016.

Even though it slipped through the radar, Ratchet and Clank was already cheaper than most games when it first released, so you have no excuse to not pick up this brilliant PS4 exclusive at some point, now it's dropped even further in price.
