15 Most Disappointing Video Games Of 2015

10. Game Of Thrones (Telltale)

Metacritic Score: 69 (PC) Telltale Games attempted to transpose their success in adapting The Walking Dead into an interactive, episodic video game onto HBO's Game of Thrones, and though not without its moments, the results are largely underwhelming. Right out of the gate, this is easily the worst-looking of the episodic games Telltale have made to date: it doesn't help that the show's visual palette is a little on the Earthy side, resulting in a fairly drab selection of greys, browns and dark greens dominating the aesthetic here. Still, the representations of real-life actors are for the most part horrendous, and not even the appearances of major cast members in voice roles can really add much flair. It might do the basic job for hardcore GOT fans, but the illusion of choice is hilariously transparent (on a few occasions you'll die and be forced to reload, which seems to defy the point of these games, all the more so given the death-heavy source material), and the presentation is frankly embarrassing for a 2015 game.

Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes). General video game, TV and film nut. Occasional sports fan. Full time loon.
