2. Doom - Cyberdemon

Good lord, the Doom reboot was one hell of an epic game, and the boss fights in it did not disappoint at all. The best overall simple has to be the first you encounter - the Cyberdemon. Those familiar with the series before the reboot will more than likely recognize the Cyberdemon as the most daunting enemy in the classic game, and man, is he intimidating here.

After the Cyberdemon grabs you and hurls you across the room, you're left to face him one-on-one in essentially a small arena area. As he rushes you and hurls missiles at you, the music in the background just adds to the experience. And just when you think you've glory-killed the Cyberdemon, he comes right back at you with a vengeance, setting up a return bout.

And while it's almost the same battle with a few new moves coming at you, it's not a battle that hurts to do it another time. The Cyberdemon was a nice throwback for longtime fans of the series, and his new, shiny and intimidating look helped make him more formidable than ever before.
