3. Destiny
I said it at the time and I'll say it again: Destiny is barely a game - it's a filing cabinet of missing content; one that time has proven would get stuffed full of things going forward, but that was a categorical failure at launch.
Still, it's testament to Bungie's prowess as developers that they were still able to produce such an immaculate feeling shooter - one that suckered in millions of players, and even more millions of dollars.
Four words: Paid-for dance emotes.
To this day, Destiny is one of the best-playing and all-round tightest first-person shooters money can buy. Just don't expect to have any content worth playing unless you want to re-run the same missions over and over, hoping for a different loot drop after your 20th time, because that's literally all it's turned into.
