15 Most Hilariously Useless Enemies In Gaming History

8. Anyone Below You - Assassin's Creed

Is this a cop out? Well, no; but it may be a technicality. Though obviously not a fixed type of enemy, the absurdly overpowered mechanics of the assassinations available to players in any Assassin's Creed game is such that almost any foe in the game can be rendered laughably useless. While later additions to the series have tried to avoid this by forcing players to wait a few hours before air assassinations become available to them, the result is nowhere near comprehensive. Virtually any foe in an Assassin's Creed game can be instantly slain should the player managed to get to higher ground above them. Given how readily the worlds of AC are designed to aid upward exploration, this strategy is essentially foolproof. Most enemies can be defeated by an air attack even after they've spotted players, and their lack of forethought defence is just comically bad.
