It may be kind of cheating to have two quotes under one entry, but these are like the yin and yang of video games, relying on each other to survive in a perfectly symbiotic relationship.. Having put hours into Pokemon, =the most intense moments of any battle always come immediately after your Pokemon just attacked or vice versa, and you waited anxiously to see how much of that all-important health bar would drain after the hit. For every elated air-punch you'd throw upon reading the words, "It's super effective!" there'd be that sinking moment of dread when you hit an enemy to find "It's not every effective..." For anyone who's at some point invested hours of their life into Pokemon, these two phrases essentially defined each nail-biting battle, and will stick with you forever.
