15 Most Underrated Nintendo 3DS Video Games Of All Time
4. Tales Of The Abyss
It’s always nice when a much loved, niche PS2 game is re-released to a larger audience, but it sucks when it’s not particularly well distributed, and barely anyone gets their hands on it.
On launch weekend, you could look to pay up to £80 for a copy of the game, and whilst it of course dropped in price again over time, it put a lot of potential buyers off, leading far too many people to miss out a second time around.
It’s another JRPG, but it’s still more than worth your time and money. The Tales games use beautiful, anime style artwork and character design, and offer fantastic character-driven plots, unlike some games that focus more on the bigger picture. You’ll encounter more than a few tropes along the way, but Tales Of the Abyss is more than charming enough that you’ll be able to overlook whatever shortcomings it may have, and enjoy losing yourself to a vibrant magical world.
There are a lot of JRPGs available, and plenty on the 3DS, but the Tales games are something special.
