There was a time where WWE's creative teams were able to put on compelling action on television as well as can't miss action in the company's games. Where have those days gone? In 2K15 the career mode was dreadful. Endless amounts of pointlessly aimless wins in matches on different shows didn't really lead anywhere. Endless conversations with the likes of Vickie Guerrero telling you that "we have nothing for you this week" was frustrating, yet more than likely a spot on representation of the backstage goings on today. The early SmackDown games had organic story lines which were completely unrelated to what was happening on television. Your superstar chose the path the wanted to take. How good would it be to have this return? Would the creative teams be able to come up with so many ideas though? From what has been happening over the past few years, not likely.
