15 Predictions For 2015's Biggest Video Games

2. Whore Of The Orient Misses 2015

Team Bondi's L.A. Noire may have been a slightly underwhelming experience overall, but their debut project still showed plenty of promise, and has us very much excited for their follow-up, Whore of the Orient. The game is a crime adventure title set in mid-1930s Shanghai, with a leaked gameplay video showing off a style that looks decidedly similar to their first game, if obviously operating in an entirely different setting. Though the game is tentatively penciled in for a 2015 release date, we've got a feeling we won't be playing the game until 2016. For starters, considering that most gamers have never heard of it, the game doesn't have any marketing presence yet, something which would need to change significantly in the lead up to its release. L.A. Noire released 7 months after the first trailer dropped, and going by that logic, even if a trailer dropped tomorrow, we wouldn't see the game until April or May 2015, but there's simply no way a trailer will drop for a long time. The reason? The game has been left without a publisher due to infamous reports about Team Bondi's unethical work requirements, and as these bureaucratic minefields take plenty of time to navigate, we suspect we'll be visiting Whore in the not-so-foreseeable future.
