15 Problems Only Dead Space Fans Will Understand

11. Wanting To Play At 60FPS, And Breaking Your Game In The Process

This is most applicable to the PC version, as console players never have to deal with this. If you purchased the original Dead Space on Steam or Origin, you likely noticed that it feels clunkier that most of your other games. If so, that's because most of your other games run at 60FPS, and you're unused to running at an inferior framerate. This can be easily fixed by changing the vsync setting to "adaptive" in your NVIDIA control panel, but it's still a pain for those who don't know, as disabling Vsync in-game will cause the game to become an unplayable mess. On console, you're stuck with 30fps, which is a problem all of its own.

Ken was born in 1994, and before the turn of the century, he was already a gamer for life, starting with Pokémon Blue Version. He has a passion for storytelling, especially in the gaming medium. Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
