15 Resident Evil Games - Ranked From Worst To Best
8. Resident Evil Revelations 2
The first one surprised us with its RE4-like balance of action and horror, so, of course, you make a sequel, a pretty fine one that brought back BARRY F**KIN' BURTON and, I guess, Claire too.
Now in an episodic format but mechanically the same as the first Revelations, save for swapping the Genesis device to scan for hidden items with a flashlight that reveals blinking items.
Although, to some peoples' dismay, the game does bring co-op into the main story, but with a twist. The second player is relatively defenceless with either the ability to see through walls, use a flashlight or stick to melee weapons.
With this, stealth becomes a major option.
Like the first revelations, Raid Mode is available providing a more fast-paced, action-oriented experience that does start to become quite addicting.
