15 Simple Things That Could Ruin 2018's Biggest Video Games
1. The Games Are Too Basic - Nintendo Labo
There's little doubting the fact that Nintendo Labo is going to be one of the year's must-have gaming accessories (if you're a kid or have kids, anyway).
Using the supplied cardboard schematics, players will be able to build a piano keyboard, a fishing rod, an RC car and many more, with the Labo game itself making ingenious use of the Switch Joy-con's IR sensor and HD rumble capabilities.
It's an incredibly neat idea, but it also remains to be seen whether or not there's actually anything substantial to the software itself. Are the titles nothing more than mildly engaging mini-games that'll leave even kids bored after just 15-20 minutes?
And will it all really be worth that pretty steep £59.99 launch price, for what is effectively some cardboard sheets and seemingly basic software? Hmmm.
