It can't be that hard to break down all the fundamental components of a house, right? Sure there's plasterboard, wiring, pipework, and like... furniture, fixtures and fittings, but rather like how Metal Gear Solid V fans started picturing balloons on random items to Fulton them back to Mother Base, Fallout's answer to even the most elaborate structures within a safezone, is to let you demolish them within seconds, at the push of a button. If only it was that easy to move house in real life.
