1. Feeling The Ground Rumble... And Then Dying Immediately
Deathclaws man, they suck. Already their design looks just that little bit too fantasy-like to fit in with the apocalyptic wasteland in general, and across the various games they've gone from a fairly serpentine aesthetic to pretty much representing Satan himself. Their appearances have always been fairly random, but in Fallout 4 they're accompanied by a small vibration of the pad as they burst up through the ground. It can happen at any time, so you might be in the middle of a firefight with a group of regular human enemies, only for one to walk right into your peripheral vision, involuntarily triggering quite the pant-shatting moment in the process. You can got toe to scarpering-toe with these guys if you're quick about it, but expect to die a good handful of times figuring out exactly how they move and where to shoot. (Hint: The legs. Always go for the legs). How have your travels been across the wasteland? Share your most relatable tales in the comments below!
