15 Things Only Fallout Fans Will Understand

9. That Feeling Of An Empty Inventory

People talk about 'the feels' for everything from the stroke of a kitten's tiny head, to the satisfaction of a piece of buttered toast - but most don't know the absolute bliss of freeing up a good couple hundred units of inventory space. Simply because Bethesda craft worlds that always feel absolutely gargantuan, the rush of realising you can dart off in any direction and resume picking up stuff, is damn-near euphoric. Skyrim's encumbrance always meant you'd slay the biggest dragons and then not have the spare weight to carry their valuable bones, but thanks to a ton of perks and upgrades, Fallout 4 manages to strike a solid balance between encouraging exploration and regularly checking in to drop items off at your various homesteads.
