15 Things Only Rainbow Six: Siege Fans Will Understand
13. When Rook Doesn't Share His Armour
As far as defenders go, Rook is one of the most popular base operators in Siege. Having some of the most reliable weapons in the game and the ability to dish out armour for that extra bit of defence, the character is a viable choice in pretty much any situation.
However, it's essentially a dice roll as to whether someone choosing this defender will actually use their ability to help the team out and lay down armour, or run off at the start of the match and keep it to themselves.
Especially when the abilities and items of other operators may be more helpful in successfully defending an objective, the combo of missing out on those resources, and then not even getting the buff from Rook, immediately starts the round off on the wrong foot.
Of course, while Rook not throwing down his armour can be a nuisance, it's just as annoying when you choose the operator yourself and nobody bothers to pick up the extra defence you've so graciously doled out.
