15 Things Only Video Game Completionists Will Understand
13. Luck-Based Achievements Are Pure Evil
There's nothing worse than going for an achievement you have absolutely zero control over. Games like Monopoly (yes, Monopoly) have achievements based off of rolling doubles three times and landing on every single space on the board. Hell, even Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock had them for finishing songs with a score ending in "000" or ending a song with the exact score of "133,337." The frustration that comes from being so close (and yet so far) from completion is truly amazing. No one likes to feel like they aren't in control of the outcome of a situation, and when you are literally sitting with a controller in hand and STILL don't have total control over how the situation is going to play out, it's a tough and annoying pill to swallow.
