5. You Can Play As Aloy In Monster Hunter: World

The tail-end of the new Monster Hunter: World trailer feature a nice little surprise for Horizon Zero Dawn fans: PS4 owners will be able to play through the entire game as Aloy when the game releases on January 26th.

It's a neat little bonus for fans of arguably the year's best game, and Aloy doesn't feel remotely out-of-place within the Monster Hunter universe. It's a cross-promotion that, dare one say, actually makes sense, even if Aloy has clearly taken a bit of a graphical hit from how lifelike she seemed in her own game.

And if that's not cool enough, the game's open beta will begin on December 9th across all platforms.
