4. Codemasters' New Racer Is Onrush
Codemasters looks to add yet another racing franchise to their sizeable cachet with Onrush, a fast-paced racer that doesn't seem to take itself too seriously, and is clearly hoping to appeal to the more casual racing fan.
Releasing next summer, the trailer places an emphasis on cars blasting the living hell out of each other, and it seems likely that the game's core focus will be on multiplayer mayhem, as is of course the rage these days.
It might not be something you'd pay full price for, but if it's sold for $40/£30, it just might scratch that free-wheeling racing itch for people who find Gran Turismo and Project Cars too rigorous.
