6. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue

Release Date: TBA 2016 The Buzz: Yes, the title is ridiculously convoluted, but ignore that nonsense and you get a ton of value for money with this HD remaster of the Nintendo DS game Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, HD cinematics which expand on the 2013 browser game Kingdom Hearts ‡, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep-A Fragmentary Passage, an expansion to the original 2010 PSP game Birth by Sleep. At this point, Kingdom Hearts fans will take anything they can to lessen the agonising wait for Kingdom Hearts III, and this'll provide at least a few weeks of reprieve. The fact that the new components will provide a lead-in to Kingdom Hearts III will be slightly comforting, though hopefully the game won't end up releasing ages before the final game hits stores, as otherwise it'll feel like yet another epic slap in the face from Square Enix.
