2. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Release Date: March 18, 2016 The Buzz: No AAA franchise PS4 title has commanded as much hype as Uncharted 4, and given the series' esteemed reputation, rightly so. To see Naughty Dog taking the series' cinematic style to the next level will be a sight to behold, and from the extensive gameplay shown off so far, it's fair to say that the game looks absolutely astonishing. The voice acting, graphics, slick gameplay and Indiana Jones-esque tone have conspired to make the series one of Sony's greatest exclusives, and this seems unlikely to be much different. The ominous title does suggest a darker entry than previous games, though one suspects ND are just going the Marvel route here: playing-up the darkness to bring the cynics in, but ultimately delivering something pretty light-hearted. Given ND's track record as far as exciting, absorbing gameplay goes, this is already a tenacious Game of the Year candidate for 2016.
