15 Upcoming Video Games To Make A Wii U Worth Buying

10. Kirby & The Rainbow Curse

A follow-up to 2005's Nintendo DS title Kirby: Canvas Curse (in which players controlled Kirby with the use of the DS' stylus), The Rainbow Curse takes the original game's challenging concept and converts it to the Wii U gamepad, complete with shiny new HD claymation-style graphics. With the central mechanic requiring players to create rainbow ropes to move Kirby across the maps, there's a surprising degree of strategy to navigating throughout the game, especially when it comes to taking on enemies and collecting goodies scattered around each level. In addition, the game looks absolutely gorgeous, of course. While it's rather strange that this title isn't being released for the 3DS as well (a platform on which it's undeniable a more natural fit), it's yet another game that should help make the Wii U home to a large number of inventive and uniquely challenging platforming games. Release Date: TBA 2015
