9. Batman: Arkham Knight
Release Date: June 2, 2015. The Buzz: The fourth game in the Batman: Arkham series has the Caped Crusader facing off against a large portion of his Rogues Gallery once again, as well as new villain Arkham Knight, who was designed specifically for the game. Arkham Knight will also introduce Batmobile gameplay for the first time in the series. Why It Could Suck: While Rocksteady have the combat mechanics honed down to a T by this point, it's possible that the Batmobile mechanics could end up making the game too easy, or perhaps driving it just won't be very satisfying. Plus, if the identity of Arkham Knight really is The Joker (as some have suggested), then the game's going to lose some major respect among fans. Why You'll Play It Anyway: Because Rocksteady's previous two Batman games were fantastic, and so even if critics don't like it, you may as well finish this story considering that this is widely expected to be the final Arkham game (from this developer, anyway).
