There is a really, really ugly side to the way each component of Starlink's economy functions, but if you opt for the Nintendo Switch edition, you practically get a new Star Fox game as McCloud and his squad feature throughout the campaign.

Best of all, Fox's special ability in-game lets him call in reinforcements, triggering the old-school Corneria theme in the background as you and the team wipe out the competition.

It's a small, arguably inconsequential addition, but makes all the difference in the moment, going that little bit further to letting you play Starlink as an all-out new Star Fox game - something Nintendo don't seem to be dropping any time soon.
