Some boss battles are reflex-testing gauntlets of pure challenge, analysing how much you've mastered a game's mechanics, and if your limits can be pushed even further.

The Anjanath though? This T-Rex wannabe is an A-hole. Flying across huge expanses of the map to crush you in one animation, breathing fire that'll do the same as you attempt to duck out the way to heal - taking him down requires just as much patience as knowledge of the game itself.

When you do though? It's like beating Mortal Kombat's Shao Kahn.

See, the Anjanath isn't broken by any stretch, but feels like it sits right on the borderline. An average attempt takes around 40-50 minutes of whittling its health away, and there's always a chance it'll tunnel underground and escape regardless.
