8. The Longest Run-Time For Cutscenes In A Game Is 72 Minutes

A favourite of the gaming community, the Metal Gear series still isn't without its faults. Often mocked today, the series' heavy focus on narrative ended up translating to a bit of a bore-fest with 2008's Guns Of The Patriots, which had a whopping 72 minute closing section of cut-scenes following the defeat of the final boss - the longest of which was 27 minutes in length!
