Destiny rise of iron
Bungie

Bungie gets so much flack for failing to implement the obvious improvements that Destiny needs that it's easy to forget just how much it already gets right.

Yes, the narrative side of things is total guff (any meaningful story is tucked away in an endless catalogue of Grimoire Cards on Bungie's website) and the universe is far smaller than many had expected, but to overlook the near-perfect gunplay, raid design and art style is doing the studio a massive disservice.

This year's Rise of Iron add-on may have been hastily put together in order to fill the gap left by Destiny 2's original release date, but if that means a bigger, better and more well-rounded sequel come autumn next year, I'm happy to play ball.

Don't mess this one up Bungie, there's potential for something truly special with a Destiny sequel.
