Potentially the greatest mystery hook in the history of Metal Gear, Peace Walker opens with Snake hearing a voice on tape that sounds just like The Boss - who also just happens to be the mentor he executed to fulfil his mission in MGS 3: Snake Eater. There's just no way she's still alive, no way in hell, we all thought. And we were right, she wasn't - the voice was an A.I. construct designed to replicate Boss by one Dr. Strangelove, a revolutionary scientist who had essentially fallen in love with her, creating the 'Mammal Pod'; a piloting program for a new Metal Gear that could replicate her through thought patterns and an actual voice. That's not even the best bit.
