16 Video Games That Would Make Perfect Animated Movies
16. The Legend Of Zelda
You're probably asking yourself right now "why is The Legend of Zelda ranking so low on this list? It would make a great movie!" And you're right: Done properly, it could be one of the best. However, despite the anime style the series sports these days, the fact of the matter is that The Legend of Zelda would just as easily - if not more so - make a great live-action fantasy film, and it's difficult to imagine anyone in Hollywood not trying to skew things in that direction. With three Lord of the Rings and three Hobbit movies making bank, you just know another studio would love a piece of that to call their own, and Zelda could give it to them. That said, there is of course one part of the franchise which indisputably falls more on the cartoony side of things: The aptly-named "Toon Link," seen in titles such as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures, The Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks, and Phantom Hourglass, is of course perfect for an animated adaptation. Not only that, but the unique visual style would help it stand apart from other animated films, whether they be computer animated, hand drawn, or stop-motion.
