You must experience: Jamming a guy's head in a door and mashing circle for a few minutes. Sometimes there comes a game so unabashedly fun and gore-tastically brilliant, it defies any description short of leaving those who read it questioning the person's sanity. All that is to say, there really shouldn't be a way to say killing a slew of demons by pulling their eyeballs out and turning their smaller brethren to paste would be anywhere near this appealing and fun, but it's by turning back the clock to mid-90's shock-horror gaming like Twisted Metal and Mortal Kombat that allowed for such a fantastic idea in the first place.

David Jaffe (himself responsible for the former of the two aforementioned titles) suitably cranked up the crazy on this sequel and with the might of Sony behind him birthed one of the most unapologetically gory power fantasies of our time. Difficulty does exist if you crank the dials high enough, but treat this as the perfect way to blow off steam following a particularly stressful day at the office and there's nothing better.
