10. World Of Final Fantasy

The Final Fantasy that time and marketing forgot.

In the run up to Final Fantasy XV and all its real-time action glory, the world missed this fan-focused throwback to when the series was entirely turn-based. Essentially doing for Final Fantasy lore what Kingdom Hearts does for Disney's archives, WoFF wants you to capture as many chibi versions of the franchise's iconic monsters as possible.

There's everything from Behemoths to Flans, but best of all are the guest appearances from alternate reality takes on the best Final Fantasy heroes and villains. Available as summons in-battle alongside their cutscene counterparts, you can watch Tidus slam home a devastating Blitzball shot, Squall bust out a tiny Gunblade or chibi Sephiroth try to brood, only to look adorable.

As FF XV was an overdeveloped mess with no real focus, World of Final Fantasy is the tribute to longtime fans we didn't know we wanted.
