11. The Evil Within 1 & 2

Speaking of being worth your time, nowhere near enough people played the first Evil Within.

A bullet-conserving throwback to the halcyon days of Resident Evil 4 over-shoulder horror from the mid 2000s, personally I adored how much gunplay was paired off against gruesome, oversized foes to take down.

Now with The Evil Within 2's biggest horror being Bethesda's godawful "review policy", it means the now open-world survival horror sequel (a phenomenal concept in itself) stands to also get thrown to the wayside.

Both games feature solid, impactful shooting alongside stories and characters that carry the action nicely. They shouldn't be missed, especially when the sequel is channeling some Silent Hill 2 vibes, i.e. One of the best horror games of all time.
