Embodying the "space trucker" feel shows like Firefly kicked into being, Rebel Galaxy is a perfect mix of loose string slide guitar, laser-blasting minerals to trade at the next station and fending off pesky pirates with increasingly cooler weapons whenever anyone else comes calling.

There's a wanted system to the way everything works, so if you want to skirt by on the wrong side of the law, feel free. Ultimately though, this is Assassin's Creed: Black Flag's naval combat in space; a gorgeously designed open-world galaxy explorer with constantly evolving encounters and bigger payoffs if you can survive.
