18 Best Video Game Levels Of The Decade (So Far)

13. Castle Rock (Black Betty) - Rayman Legends

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV-w6crl3-c You're probably sick to death of 2D platformers, being both Sony and Microsoft have offered up a good handful of them on their respective free games programs for the last year or so. But, and it's a Kardashian-sized one - don't let that put you off the absolutely brilliant Rayman Legends; a title that took Origins' spectacular animation style and refined it even more, offering up a game that when taken as a whole is clearly just as good as anything Nintendo are putting out. Case in point being the unique song-themed levels, the best of which is actually the first you'll encounter; a remix of Ram Jam's Black Betty (a song you'll know even if that name means nothing) - except you 'play' the song as Rayman's movements match up to the various highs, lows and melodic beats of the track. It's a genius inclusion, and Ubisoft's unbeatable animation brings the whole thing to life like nothing else.
