1. Nate's Auction Gunfight Entrance - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

There are a number of genuinely jaw-dropping spectacles tucked away inside Uncharted 4, not the least of which is the epic crane car chase that sees Drake clinging on for dear life as he and an entire convoy of enemy soldiers chase his brother down a muddy highway.

That said, the first 'proper' gunfight you take part in just edges it by being quintessential Uncharted - and quintessential Nathan Drake.

See, you've only just escaped your first boss fight against Nadine, the result getting Nate thrown out a window, only to slowly make his way towards Sam and best pal Sully, as they're in need of some assistance.

Fluidly and in one continuous camera movement, you grab a rope, crash straight through a huge glass window and roll faux-gallantly to their aid, snatching up a pistol and nonchalantly quipping, "Hey, how's it going?"

It's so gloriously on-point, nothing this year has made me grin quite so much.
