18 Greatest Video Games Of The PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 Generation
18. The Walking Dead
Robert Kirkman's comic series has fast become one of the biggest properties in entertainment; the TV show has started receiving rave reviews after shaky beginnings and Telltale's game series is garnering all kinds of acclaim too. The genius of The Walking Dead is that the zombies are a relatively minor factor overall; it's really about the dangers and perils of a society gone wrong, and Telltale were quick to realise that. That's why The Walking Dead is all about story and character. The game puts you in control of one Lee Everett and allows you to dictate his path through the zombie apocalypse by choosing dialogue options and actions too. When the heat is on and big decisions need to be made, it can be unbelievably tense. The gameplay is a little repetitive (or non-existent if you believe some people) but if you're looking for an engaging experience that will keep you up at nights, mulling over every little decision, Telltale have got you covered.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
