15. The Meat Circus - Psychonauts

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KECJ2nG3Ljg Psychonauts is a game riddled with WTF moments - as you might expect from anything emerging from the mind of the brilliant Tim Schafer - but it is the Meat Circus level that concludes the game which stands out as the biggest of them all. The level is absolutely terrifying, bringing together the devastated psyches of General Oleander and main character Raz to create a circus level made almost entirely out of meat. It's warped, weird and a complete departure from the more humorous charms of the rest of the game. It is also damned hard and will have more than a few gamers breaking pads in frustration before its final boss fight, where the player takes on an enormous butcher wielding a pair of meat cleavers. The fight is a WTF moment on its own, and then you have to do it again with the cleavers on fire. That's not the worst of it though. After knocking the terrifying butcher into a giant meat grinder, it turns into an even more terrifying, two-headed meat monster that Raz can only beat by turning into a giant version of himself.
