18 Hugely Anticipated Video Games That Must Be At E3 2015
18. Mass Effect 4
Can you believe it's been a whole year since this first got teased? Bioware have since had multiple layoffs (including creative director Casey Hudson) alongside cancelled their newest IP Shadow Realms to focus on assumedly Mass Effect 4. Whether the wider populace wants another Mass Effect is another question. There's definitely enough scope to delve into essentially any race in the galaxy and flesh out their side of the conflict - or just create an entirely new one - but it's going to be an uphill battle regardless following EA getting voted The Worst Company in America two years in a row after Mass Effect 3 dropped the ball in a truly historic way. Little's known about ME4 aside from it featuring the return of the ping-ponging Mako from the first game, and that the team are taking a far wider open-galaxy approach to traversal and exploration. No Man's Sky's whole approach of exploring distant planets will be in full effect - but whether that comes at the cost of individual world detail or if the characters therein are anywhere near as memorable as those we've been with in the past well, that's something we'll hopefully get some light on come June.
