It's amazing that the strength of Naughty Dog's writing and characters means that they can completely drop the series' main protagonist, Nathan Drake, and still deliver an exceptional adventure.

Although shorter and a bit narrower in scope than your standard Uncharted adventure, The Lost Legacy is still very much deserving of your attention.

It stars Chloe Frazer, ex-mercenary Nadine Ross as well as Nate's brother Sam Drake in an all-new adventure through India. As with all Naughty Dog games, you can expect their typical incredible levels of polish; this title was built upon the foundations of Uncharted 4, and looks and plays every bit as good as that one did.

In places, Lost Legacy also feels like the potential next step of the Uncharted series. While Uncharted 4 dabbled with larger, more explorable areas, Lost Legacy has these in more abundance, encouraging player exploration and a larger map to accommodate for it.

Story wise, it's probably not quite as strong as Uncharted 4 before it, but as it's more of a spin-off adventure, you can let that slide and simply enjoy spending some more time with some of the side characters in the Uncharted universe.

As always, expect plenty of shooting lots of goons, collapsing stuff and climbing things too.
