20 Best Ever E3 Moments

All the soulless corporate-speak at E3 ends up feeling a bit exhausting, so while many dismissed this moment as "awkward," the hilariously bizarre reveal of Peggle 2 at E3 2013 was at least a welcome breath of fresh air.

After Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare was announced, developer John Vechey took to the stage to confirm that a sequel to 2007's puzzle game Peggle was on the way.

An enthusiastic Vechey bestowed that "Peggle TWO!" was coming, before jumping into the air and slamming into the ground while "Ode to Joy" uproariously played out.

The conference audience evidently didn't know what to do with this information or Vechey's unexpected presentation style, and so left him exiting the stage to a bout of thunderous silence.

All the same, it was infinitely more amusing than the usual stuffed shirt executive droning on about their latest release. And a decade later, whether we ever actually played Peggle 2 or not, we all still remember it.
