Harvest Moon GB offered people Harvest Moon on the go and to be honest, that's all it needed to do.

There are some notable things missing from Harvest Moon GB. Romance is the biggest thing. You can no longer impress the ladies with your superior crop growing skills which is a crying shame to be honest.

The Game Boy's screen also stops this from being a very pretty game, that was until Harvest Moon GBC, a deluxe version of the game released for the Game Boy Colour which makes the game much easier on the eyes.

Is it one of the weaker Harvest Moon games?

Yeah but it's still a solid Harvest Moon experience on the go where you can spend hundreds of hours just building up your farm.

With the excellent Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for the Game Boy Advance and the great remake of that game Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town for the Switch there's no point going back to this game, that's why it's so low on the list, but it is still an amazing game which offers something that nothing else on the handheld can.
