20 Best Nintendo Games Of The Decade
1. Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
There was never any doubt which game was going to make it to the top. The bottom half of this list changed practically every second, it was anyone's guess who was gonna crack the top ten, but never once did we doubt who was at the top. Breath Of The Wild is a masterstroke, and you all know why.
Essentially being Nintendo's answer to the survival sandbox genre, Breath Of The Wild makes every other sandbox game - and every survival game slumming it on Steam - look like nothing less than amateurs. Every think piece that tried to convince people during the Wii U era that Nintendo had lost its touch were lost to obscurity where they belonged once this game hit the shelves.
The world was enormous, the Zelda formula was permanently broken, but in a way that left room for something new, and the central characters felt more alive and real than they ever had before. It wasn't perfect, but only in the sense that nothing is truly perfect.
But in terms of Nintendo games, there is no doubt at all that this is the game people will remember most when they look back on this decade of the greatest gaming company in the world.
