Number 16 on this list showcased the Konix Speedking but that device could only be held in the left hand. Konix noted that this was a limitation and so designed the Navigator, a gun shaped joystick with the stick on top that worked in either hand. Though not the first gun available for a console, the NES having the light gun for example, the Navigator offered a true trigger placement and an eight way joystick. Thus, a game could be played and controlled with what truly felt like a real gun. On the top of that was an auto fire option making this joystick fully automatic.
